How to make virtual windows xp "window" appear larger?

I installed parallels on my mac os 10.4.11 machine. Then I installed windows xp inside parallels.

The problem is when I expand the parallels window to fill the whole mac screen area, the windows xp part of the parallels screen stays small with more black/blank area all around it.

Any solutions?

I want to make the windows xp screen fill up my mac monitor.

Answere to my own question

The solution:

Find out screen resolution of Mac display.

System Preferences >> Displays >> 1440x900 (my screen resolution)

Then make sure Windows XP software uses the same screen resolution as the Mac.

Control Panel >> Display >> Settings >> 1440x900 (screen resolution matches the Mac)

Now everything works as I expect. Never was a problem with Parallels or even Windows. Human error strikes again.
