How to make windows recognize devices (ipod, cd) instead of mac

Is there a way to make the windows xp OS im running on parallel recognize my ipod when i plug it in and load on my winamp there, instead of having it load in the itunes on my mac?

and similarly, can i make windows recognize a cd i insert into my macbook instead of the mac?

I have the opposite problem. When Parallels is suspended/minimized, any CD or USB flashdrive is immediately "captured" by the dormant PC and does not mount properly on the Mac desktop.
