Okay let me make this question as simple as possible.
Next Wed. I start my first job as a medical transcriptionist. I got Parallels so I could run windows, so I could use programs, that Mac does not support, like Little red notebook, Medical spell check, and word expanders like Instant text.
    1. I need to type in windows, so I can use all of these above mentioned programs.
    2. How do I then transfer my finished documents to my email on my Mac side?
Please be very clear on what I need to do I am not very computer literate and don't want to pay the $$$$ to actually talk to someone. I am under a lot of pressure though, as I want to get in some practice before next Wednesday.
    Thanks Deb.

Heh. You want clear consulting, but don't want to pay... Sorry, usually it doesn't work that way, you pay for answers, but I'll throw you a bone since this one is so easy.

Dragging and dropping should work just fine for moving the files.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the "bone" I am trying to do the drag and drop thing as we speak.
And yes I don't want to be spending a lot of $ as you pointed out having 3 kids to support etc. So I am very thankful to everyone on here who offers good advice in a simple format for us "non-experienced" computer people. Have a great day.

My point was simply that consulting is a source of income for many of us. Nobody said money grows on trees, asking someone to give away their source of income to keep your costs down is sorta rude was my point, I'm in a family of eight, and no it's not 'easy' work for my Dad. No, I don't have money thrown at me, I work hard for what I have.

Anyways... Hope I'm not coming off like a jerk, but just some advice for the future.

    Hello,

let's not start offtopic here :)

Medicaltranscriber, you can copy and move files from the Mac side to the VM (Parallels Explorer included in PD provides it). So you can just drag a file - what's wrong with that?

    Best regards,
    Alicia.

    Thank you Alicia

Alicia, Thank you for the answer. I don't know what Eru has against me asking a question. I mean isn't that what this site is for. Obviously if I can't get my questions answered I would most likely call and spend the $. Thanks again. Deb.
