How to transfer macOS 12 .macvm from one instance to another?

We are currently testing parallels as a solution for one of our pipelines. After creating a macOS 12 VM from raw `.ipsw` (which runs great in parallels desktop), I've tried rsyncing the `.macvm` vm to another instance and running it. When I do so, the vm will start but is completely black. If I run `arp -a`, I don't see it connected to the network at all.

I'm new to Parallels and feel like I'm missing some important configuration steps in order to make the vm portable.

All of the instances I've tried this with are Mac m2 metal servers, and can create/run macOS 12+ vms just fine. They just can't run macVMs from a downloaded `.macvm` vm file.
