How to uninstall a program?

Hi all,

I have a question, I just download the trial version of Parallel 4.0 for Mac . I really like it and feel like buy it because I could play certain games that I could not on the Mac.

But I have a problem is, I tried to uninstall the software, like how I used to do on a windows, CONTROL PANEL, under Add or Remove Programs. I deleted the files which around 2.2gb but the memory does not came back to my Main Hard-Disk. I was wondering why? and how could i delete it properly.

also, i tried to delete some file on Windows but it does not appear in the recycle bin. I wonder is the file already deleted? Since I could not find them again.

I suppose you have an expanding hard disk in your virtual machine. It will not be decreased in size automatically, it will only grow up in case if additional space on Windows side's needed. To reduce the size of your hard drive you should use Parallels Compressor (here's its user guide)

Probably, you have deleted it holding Shift key. By default files are deleted in Recycle Bin
