How to use trackpad gestures (e.g. mission control) in a MacOS guest?

I'm new to Parallels, but not to virtual machines. I'm excited to finally be able to run a clean OSX VM in which I can test installation procedures and other software development / debugging!

.. but the first snag I've hit is I put an application (within the MacOS guest) fullscreen, and can't switch to it using the usual four-finger swipe upwards gesture. I tried making the MacOS VM fullscreen, and even set the keyboard/mouse settings to "Gaming" in the hopes it would capture gestures.

Is there a way to send trackpad gestures, particularly Mission Control (four-finger upwards swipe) and Exposé (four-finger downwards swipe)?

(I'd prefer not to have to configure the guest specially - e.g. adding keyboard shortcuts or hot corners - if I can avoid it)
