I've got SuSE 10.1 on Parallels on a MacBook and it works fine. But how do I type the @ symbol?
The normal Mac-way is <option>+2 but that produces 2.

Not quite so easy, unfortunately.
I have a Spanish keyboard. The @ is on the 2 key, in the right lower corner.
Using Mac OS, 2 produces 2, shift+2 produces " and option-2 produces @.
In SuSE/Parallels/Mac, I don't know how to type @.
I have the same question for { and } which are normally produced by option+' and option+ç.
I have seen that in SuSE YaST gives you loads of options on keyboard behaviour, but I cannot figure out which is correct in this case.
Lack of Alt Gr in Windows
I've got the same problem, but in a Windows environment. I'm running XP in a Mac VM, and I'm unable to produce any of the characters that require the use of the Alt Gr key. That is, @, £, $, {[]} etc. I've got a Finnish layout on a Logitech Comfort Desktop keyboard, which has dual markings for both Windows and Mac. The key labeled Alt Gr is also the Command/Apple key on the right side of the space bar.
Anyone from Parallels able to clarify? RC2 made the Option key correspond to the standard Alt key, which was nice for accessing menus.
In addition, the "Start menu" key doesn't seem to do anything inside the VM.

Ah, searched for a solution, found it here:

So thats ctrl+alt (e.g. ctrl+option) to emulate Alt Gr. A bit of a hassle, sure, but I suppose I'll get used to it.
Somewhat unrelated rant: I didn't find the thread at first - the messageboard search function returned no results for "alt gr" (or the same without the quotation marks), but googling for 'parallels "alt gr"' did the trick. Why is it that no web board on Earth seems to have a halfway decent search function?
