HP printer connection issues

I have recently moved from a PC to MacBook w/ OS X 10.2.6. No luck in getting my HP Officejet Pro K8600 or HP Deskjet 9800 to print. Spent 30 mins on phone w/ Apple and another 30 mins on the phone w/ HP tech. No progress. Any thoughts? Dave

David, do you have any other printers as i am having trouble printing to our HP but can print fine to our Kyocera.

I use to have this problem but later I found out that I only missed to install the two HP updates slp_dd_hati_110_107.exe and ConvergedIO_HPCOM_V3.exe.
