I have PW 2.1b5 running under MacBook Pro with OS X 10.4.6. I have reinstalled the Parallel Tools and have added USB support to my VM. My guest OS is WIndows 2000 SP4.
If I plug in my Lexar Secure II memory stick the little led on the stick comes on and stays on. In Windows Explorer I get a new drive labeled Removeable Drive but it doesn't contain anything. The led on the memory stick is still on.
At this point I can't safely remove the device. If I try to under WIndows, Windows go through the motions and I can pick the device from the list and click on Stop but I never get a message that it is safely removed. Mac OS X never sees the drive all this time.
After a while I just remove the drive and then Windows complains about not removing it safely.
So basically I can't use my USB memory stick with Parallels.
