I left these forums after I got a refund for an absolute debacle with PD4. I had re-installed PD3 and sampled VMWare.
In the interests of fair play I thought I would just say this.
I've upgraded my MacBook Pro HDD to 500 Gb, put in a Bootcamp disk of 120 Gb and installed Win XP again.
That left me something like a 360 Gb MAC OSX partition, so I thought I would resurrect Parallels and use the Bootcamp installation .
Whilst doing this - which was flawless, PD 3 Build 5638 pitched up.
Having 'rubbished' PD4 at the time, I must commend Parallels for PD3 which has been a joy to use, especially with the Bootcamp installation. It is outstanding and I am very impressed.
Has PD4 been sorted out yet? Do the latest installations upgrade without all the issues the original few builds had?
I would also publically like to thank John@Parallels for his help before I left, he really did give it his best shot.
