iCloud mail account set-up in Windows VM not working

    suddenly after re-installing Parallels and Windows 10 VM I experience problems with the set-up of mail accounts in the Windows Mail app. When I want to set up an iCloud mail account, it seems the data is taken, but the mailbox does not synchronise. I use my Apple ID, ending on @me.com and password, no error message is given and the mail account exists, but no synchronization.
    When I try to set up another non-iCloud mail account, then everything works perfect: full synchronization. Is there an special setting to be done regarding iCloud mail accounts?
