Icons with green dots

Since having my drive repaired (see an earlier post) my Windows app icons are now appearing in the Mac's Switcher with a big superimposed green dot with a white border. Anyone know what that's about? (See uploaded image)

You have set VM to differentiate with green color. Right-click VM in Control Center and select 'x' in bottom row.
