IE Application Compatibility VPC Images

Is it possible at all to use these image files provided by Microsoft with Parallels Desktop?

I've have been trying to convert an image, and although Parallels Transporter seems to recognize the original image file, I can't figure out how to convert/use it.

...and the second thread says the answer is to use something called the Parallels Transporter, documented at:

I'm going to try that now.

It seems that a lot of us would like to use Parallels for testing against multiple versions of IE in web development. This is becoming something of a FAQ. I'd be very grateful if the Parallels people would publish a tutorial.
