Here's an odd one....using IE6 XP in Parallels, the browser gets no response from any Microsoft.com pages. Other sites load quickly and without problems. Activating of keys goes smoothly on any installation, so there is SOME communication to the Mother House. But Microsoft itself will not load into the browser. Pause the VM, move over to Safari in OS X and Microsoft loads immediately. Pure irony. I would like to upgrade IE 6 to 7, but you have to be in Windows to validate before you can download. No can do if Microsoft is not talking to my browser. Anyone else experiencing this? Greg
try using FireFox ???????? http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Search.aspx?displaylang=en but this was verified already Instructions This download is available to customers running genuine Microsoft Windows. Click the Continue button in the Validation Required section above to begin the short validation process. Once validated, you will be returned to this page with specific instructions for obtaining the download. just a guess next comes Windows Genuine Advantage plug-in installation Some downloads are made available only after users have validated their versions of Microsoft Windows. Firefox and Netscape Navigator browser users may install a helper program, the Windows Genuine Advantage plug-in, to enhance their download experience. that might fix it Hugh W
