IMG Image to Parallels HDD file

Hi there,

I am looking for a way to move an IMG image file into a virtual Parallels HDD and then use that to boot from it.

Is there any way I can merge or image such a file into a virtual HDD?

Any idea very welcome.
 
How did you create the IMG file? If it is from some imaging software, just install such software in a virtual machine, in which you have mounted a new virtual disk image of the proper size. Then use your imaging software to restore the IMG file onto the empty disk.
