Incorrect VM HD Stats

When I launch Parallels, Hard Disk 1 is set for 64000 MB, which is what I want. But when I launch the guest OS (Win XP PRO SP2), "my Computer" says slightly less than 8 gigabytes.

Desktop support email hasn't responded for over a month despite repeated reminders. Can anyone else help?
