whe n I try to open windows to instal it says

Your CPU supports Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x) but it is currently disabled (locked by firmware). Virtual machine will be started without VT-x support (in software virtualization mode).

    Then it say's

    Non-System disk or disk error
Replace and press any key when ready

Then when I take off the disk with "disable" It says

No bot device availible, press enter to continue

When I press enter it keep on putting that! What dink should I put ofr what should I do? PLEASE help!!

    Hello King1212
First please make sure you have all latest MacOS X software and firmware updates installed (just browse to Apple -> Software Update to check it).If you do, please try the following:
1.Put your Mac to sleep mode (Apple -> Sleep)
    2.Wait for about 2 minutes.
    3.Wake up Mac.
    4.Try starting Parallels Desktop again.

Please note that workaround above needs to be repeated each time after the reboot of your MacOS X.

I spent many hours with this problem too and finally found this post from smelvis on this board:

    1) Found Knowledge base article http://kb.parallels.com/entry/30/458/

    2) Before, I tried installing from Disk Image using "Express" install. Article suggested using "Typical" install. That seemed to do the trick. XP is now up and (mostly) running.
