The reason I want to do this is because the current Windows advises that "this copy is not genuine". It prompts me to activate Windows, then I don't do so, and it works anyway. I'm concerned that it may stop working.
All I really want to do on the VM is continue to run Quicken, so I don't think I need Windows 7.
Since most of us buy computers with OEM Windows installed, how do you avoid this issue?
