Hi. I've just purchased and downloaded a copy of Parallels 3.0 for Mac (Build 5582). When I launch the installer, I get the welcome screen on the installer like i'd expect, but everything is grayed out. Including the Continue button.

I'm on a Mac dual-quad core 3 GHz machine with 8 GB of RAM running 10.5.1.

Am I missing something simple here?

Hi. That's the problem. I can't get Parallels installed in the first place. That is the installer that doesn't work.

And just for the heck of it, i even ran uninstaller just to make sure there weren't some conflicting files that were causing the problem. I got back the message that Parallels isn't installed.
 
Hello,

please, try to do the following:
1. Reboot your Mac.
2. Browse the Applications folder. Open Utilities and launch Disk Utility.
3. Select Macintosh HD on the left tab and click the Repair Disk Permissions button.
4. Reboot Mac again and try to install PD again - will it install normally?
