I have two Windows 7 VMs installed under MacOS Mojave and Parallels v16. I am unable to install the Parallels Tools in either VM. Generally the installation gets to about 60% on the progress bar and then an error message ("a problem occurred") appears and the only option is to reboot. This reboot sometimes resets things like the Windows screen resolution. I have tried all of the troubleshooting options here: https://kb.parallels.com/8969. They all result in the same error.
Any other possible work arounds to this?

    Hello!
In order to proceed with further investigation, kindly provide us with the below information:
    1. Reproduce the issue.
    2. Take screenshots of the errors.
    3. Send us a detailed explanation with the screenshots attached in reply.
    4. Collect a technical report (right-click Parallels icon in Dock > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and send the report's 9-digit ID in a reply.
    Thank you!

    Thanks.
Will do in detail week after next.
For now; i) Launch Parallels ii) start up W7 VM iii) Actions -> Reinstall Parallels Tools iv) gets to about 60% on progress bar and then the attached error message. Only option is to reboot by hitting return (VM does not respond to mouse). As I indicated, I went through all of the gyrations in that kb document to avail. Same issue with two different W7 VMs.
    Thanks.

I have this exact same problem. Was a solution found? After re-start Windows states that drivers had not been installed (picture attached)

It must be some kind of Parallels 16 + Mojave issue because I have the same thing. Gets to 60% then fails!
