Please help. I installed OS X Lion today and also ran the Parallels 6.0 build update for Lion. I can no longer get Windows XP to open in the Virtual Machine. I get the following error message (this is paraphrased):

- Windows could not start hardware due to configuration problem.
- Could not read from the selected boot disk.
- Check boot path and hardware.

Windows XP loads fine from Boot Camp so I know the partition is not corrupted.

Someone please help me! Thanks you

same problem H E L P

I have same problem But still using Snow Leopard and XP
Virtual machine created and works great, until a restart on either windows or iMac and I get the error that in black window that cant find boot path

to get out of the problem I clicl on VM List and highlight the VM and Remove
The I pull down VM Menu again and here it lets me designate the Boot Camp as the location [It seems to always default to the CD/DVD drive] And it starts up great. Translucence works fine until next restart.
I would also mention that If I start up iMac and choose BootCamp as the booting drive Windows works great.

There must be a file that I can designate that Boot Camp is to be used???
