installing tools in ubuntu

Ive mounted parallels tools on desktop, but i dubble click on icon i get error.


Couldn't display "/media/cdrom0/parallels-tools.run

Open up a console login instead and mount manually.
 
Thx for answer, but i'm a newbie user (linux)

I have manually mounted parallels tools. I cant get it running....always get error messages
 
does one have to reinstall parallels tools in the linux environment when upgrading to the new build like in the windows environment?
