Hi there, After using the trial of Parallels desktop I am very interested in purchasing the software, but I had a couple questions first: From the eGPU thread, I am a bit confused on the "Note: eGPU device works when Mac connected to power adapter". Does this mean in order for Parallels to take advantage of the eGPU, I must have the Macbook power cable / charging cable plugged in as well? My Razer Core X charges my Macbook while it is plugged into it, so I typically don't connect the Macbook charging cable as it would seem redundant. According to this article I can set how many cores are assigned to Parallels, I am wondering if 'cores' count the same way as 'threads' do here? In my case, I have a i5 8259U (2018 13" Macbook Pro) with 4 cores and 8 threads. If I choose to assign '4' cores in Parallels configuration, does this assign only 'cores' to Parallels, or 'threads' as well? Does it try to evenly assign threads and cores, for example if I chose '6' cores in Parallels config, would 3 be cores and 3 be threads (leaving 1 core and 1 thread to macOS)? Or does Parallels ignore 'threads' completely, and only use cores? In the configuration for Parallels Desktop Pro trial I was able to assign up to 8 'cores' to the Windows VM even though my i5 8259U only has 4 actual cores, but has 8 threads. If I am to purchase Parallels Desktop Pro 14 (yearly subscription) do I get Parallels Tools for Mac included, and if and when Parallels 15 releases will I get free upgrades to that as long as I am still under a subscription?
Another question I forgot to ask was whether or not I need to change any of the VRAM settings with my eGPU connected, or do I leave it as-is and Parallels will take advantage of all my eGPU VRAM (8GB)?
