Internet Stopped Working After No Issue for Months

I have build 1970 running on a MBP 15 Win XP SP2. I have used Parallels for several months and never had an issue before with getting on the internet.
My settings are bridged ethernet with the default adapter. The adapter shows that it is connected but can't get on the internet with IE, and Outlook Exchange server is not connecting.
I think the problem may have started after I used PDA net today but I have used it before and no issues.

I reinstalled Parallels but still no Internet. Internet is working fine on the MAC side.

Any help appreciated.
 
I tried all the different configurations suggested in the Support FAQs still no internet. I'm thinking there must be a problem with a setting but I don't have a clue for a next step. Parallels is pretty useless for me without Internet access since main thing I use it for is Outlook Exchange Server. Maybe back to Entourage and ask for a refund. I've tried a support ticket on another issue and never got a response.

Any help appreciated.
 
Open a command line window in your VM and type in:

ipconfig /all

Then paste the results in back here.
 
When I went to do what you suggested I saw a menu item for "Connect to" which brought me to a window for "Connection Manager" when I right clicked on the Parallels Network adapter it said it was disabled. When I enabled it my connection came back. Ridiculously simple solution which is what I would have suspected.

I saw DKP solved the problem for EDJ. I tried to to the same EDJ did but couldn't see the menu item "Connect to" or "Connection Manager". I appreciate the help. Here is the result of doing the "ipconfig/all" (note: this is using in WInXP ......Start/Run.../cmd).

Open your XP control panel. Select Network Connections. There should be an icon in the right hand panel. Click right on it and select Status. In the window that pops up it will show status including if it is enabled or not (it should be enabled). If it is enabled and working there will be counters indication IP traffic is coming and going.

The assumption is that you configured Parallels to provide network support, and that it is providing DHCP information. Your ipconfig report suggests your network is disabled in Windows or that Parallels was not configured to provide network services to the virtual machine.

Disregard my message above. Issue resolve. Very simple. Parallels has on the (on my) lower right corner a little icon for "Network Adapter" .. It was disconnected. I just clicked on it and change it to "Connect"! Woohoo!

Can I get an assist on this one, too? I'm on a MacPro connected Via Airport to a Belkin router. My Parallels VM is Windows XP set for Bridged Ethernet with the Airport adapter. This has worked in the past but I recently turned off a VPN connection and now Parallels can't connect to the internet. I can connect to the host computer, though.

If anyone's curious, I deleted the connections assiciated with my VPN (they were previously disabled) from the connection window. Now my virtual machine can access the internet again.
