Invalid Activation Key

So my trial key expired today and I bought a new activation key, as prompted by the beta version of Parallels 3.0. The new key works fine, but requires that I enter the original permanent key. When I enter the original trial key it pops-up "Invalid Activation Key!"

Am I screwed or???
