    Hi,
Is there any reason why iPad client cannot connect to the Mac.

    1) can see the MacBook Pro in the iPad client
    2) Mac is running client and is logged in / cant see how to logout anywhere
    3) MacBook has sleep - NEVER
    4) both connections --- cable & wifi are active
    4) is there an install guide anywhere

Hi, we recommend you follow the troubleshooting steps given below:
    1. Make sure remote computer is always online, refer to https://kb.parallels.com/118897
    2. Make sure Parallels Access is turned ON, refer to https://kb.parallels.com/116706
    3. Then on the remote Mac computer, click on the Apple logo > System preferences > Security and privacy > Privacy > unlock settings by clicking padlock > on the left side scroll down and select "Screen Recording" > on the right side put a checkmark for the "Parallels Access" and "Parallels Access Agent"
    4. Likewise, on the left side scroll down and select "Accessibility" > on the right side put a checkmark for the "Parallels Access" and "Parallels Access Agent"
