My IPOD is not being recognized in itunes or windows explorer in my winxp sp2 VM.

I have the kernel support for my opensuse 10.2. Iy recognizes other device such as my phone/modem. It will recognize and show a USB memory stick.

I followed the instructions on itunes help and disabled the service, connected ipod device, but it still does not show up in windows explorer.

    Any sugestions???

    Parallels workstation 2.2
    opensuse 10.2 w/ 2.6.18.8 kernel update
    compaq presario v2000
    latest itunes

Are you sure you used iTunes first to designate the ipod as accessible as a hard disk?

Is it logically disconnected from OS X?

Hi fbronner- I'm not sure I did that- please give more details.

Eru-Ithildur- I'm not using OSx at all on my pc, unless you're referring to the OS X on the ipod- please clarify.

    Thanks ALL!

    Ok,

You are on the wrong forum, this is the forum for Parallel running on top of OS X. You seem to be running it on top of windows.
