I've breath too much previous to the email.
First:
- Parallels hangs when there is a "too much" hard drive use.
Second:
- Hangs my computer (kernel panic).
Third
- Is it not possible to generate a report (computer is frozen)
Fourth:
- It is supposed to be a GA release.
Fifth:
- It is supposed you can work with that version (or so).
Sixth:
- I've buyed the software.
Seventh:
- I've supported betas in order to help Parallels to improve their product. Too much.
I can live with a beta and I don't blame Parallels if a BETA has problems, becouse the version is BETA.
But you don't try me to tell me that is a configuration problem or so.
THE SAME VIRTUAL MACHINE + THE SAME HOST COMPUTER + RELEASE VERSION OF PARALLELS = UNEXPECTED HANGS.
I'M NOT CONNETING NOTHING. ONLY A VIRTUAL HARD DRIVE AND A A NETWORK DEVICE IN ORDER TO MOUNT SAMBA!!!

I'm using Parallels in my work. I based my work in Virtual Machines.
I believe Parallels must correct one thing: 3186 is still abeta.

But with lies, you will loose your clients.

I have used every release of parallels with XP & Vista and never had any problems.
What spec is your MBP and what RAM etc have you allowed to parallels, this could be the cause.
However the problem may be your mac so try using a free app called Yasu (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/13416) this will clear all your caches and logs and also fix your permissions, after running reinstall the latest parallels.
