I've recently moved from VirtualBox to Parallels. While I love the functionality that it brings to my bootcamp partition, I have been having some issues with installing Ubuntu 12.
If I go through the automated install from Parallels, the version installed is 11 (I forgot which build exactly), not the most recent one, which is 12.
Also, if I try to install it from an ISO downloaded from Ubuntu.com, it won't let me install Ubuntu. When I select the option to install Ubuntu, it instead shuts down the VM.
Any thoughts? Am I missing something?
