Is it possible to; run ubuntu webserver on parallels?

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible in theory to run a webserver on ubuntu installed on parallels with mac os x running behind a router.

Im using a D-link DIR-655 im pretty sure I read somewhere that I can set it up to give a specific PC the static ip.

Has this been tested before?

It should work, if you use Bridged Networking mode for the virtual machine (adjustable in Configure -> Network Adapter).
