W/ no applications running XP idles internally at <1% and externally (within OSX) at 12+% across a brand new core 2.. seems a bit insane (and definitely isn't good for mobile users). My only devices are network and shared folders; removed everything else w/ the hopes it would help.. but doesn't. Screen capture shows utilization (which gets much worse under load): Regards, J.
