    Hello,

I am somewhat new to Parallels and I've been trying to set up the connection between my guest Windows 10 OS and host Mac. I've been researching this for a while and can not figure it out. I've tried getting the IP from windows using ipconfig and setting it on my Mac host file. I've tried the Shared Network method and Bridge Network method. On the windows side I am running a simple Angular app on port 4200 (localhost). I am trying to get to it from the Mac side by the host alias:4200, but I just keep getting a Connection Refused. I disabled the Firewall on the Windows side and all added rules for that specific port (inbound and outbound). I also tried running the Angular App on the Mac side and adding the Mac's IP to the Windows host file to load it that way and can not get that working either. I am open to going over the detailed steps for Shared Network and Bridge Network again since a lot of what I have found was outdated Parallels versions. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @CarlosE4 , did you check with the Angular App support regarding the same?

Hi @Arun@Parallels I did not. My intentions of doing this was originally for a larger scale project where I will be running some web services using IIS on the Windows side and running the front end through the Mac side. I was not able to connect to those services ports. I thought I would try a simpler version of a basic app and tyring to access the guest localhost. Btw, I forgot to mention that when I tried pinging the IP address (from host to guest and guest to host) I was successful.
