Issue opening jsp page in Parallels

adamt

Bit poster
we have an jsp page here that I can open in various native windows browsers and mac browsers, but when I try to open that jsp page in either IE or Firefox in Parallels, it gives "server not found" errors. (the link is http://itwmaxp01:7001/maximo/webclient/login/login.jsp , but I think it's just an internal one)

Oddly it opened up in older versions of Parallels (ie pre 3.x versions)

any suggestions of settings to fuss with or change for Parallels, as it is obviously something there.?

Thanks,
Adam

which browser versions?

MS IE 7 on WInXP sp2

Danish comments say it is broken
not a parallels problem

As i said, its most likely an INTERNAL link.. so you won't be able to access it outside of our network here (harvard), I just listed it so people can actually see the type of link it is.

It IS a Parallels problem, as I can access the Javascript page link in XPsp2 and Vista in IE7 and Firefox 2.x, and on my mac in Safari and Firefox, but not in Parallels XP sp2, IE 7 nor Firefox 2.x

I used to be able to access it with a pre 3.x version of Parallels, and still can on another machine, but not mine that is 3.0 build 5584

I AM the IT person, and I am trying to resolve this issue for a client..

You WON"T be able to access the link.. its on an internal server here at Harvard.

Please stop responding to this thread if you aren't someone from Parallels or someone who has resolved a similiar JSP page issue with Parallels 3.x

Hello,

Adam, Parallels staff would appreciate if you show respect to other users on this forum.
Please try Bridged Ethernet to get access to the server.

Best regards,
Xenos

Xenos,

Thanks, that fixed the issue..
If I hadn't gotten TWO different replies from someone who didn't bother to read what I had posted twice about it being an internal link, perhaps I wouldn't have gotten so short with them.

Thanks again for your help.
