just purchased parallels

hello i just purchased parallels and i have a MacBook Pro brand new with 4gbs of ram ... im running parallels 3.0 and windows xp service pack 3 ... im trying to get a USB device to work when im in parallels .. I do not get the found new hardware wizard to pop up when i plug in the usb device to the MAC ... I tried to plug a regular printer into the same usb port in the MAC and the hardware wizard came up ... I tried to go in XP to device manage and there was no Exclamation point there that said the driver was not working so i could not find a way to install the proper driver to run the USB device in XP ...


Any ideas ?>>
