(K)Ubuntu problem on MacPro

This problem has been around for a while... When first installing Ubuntu/Kubuntu in the VM make sure that there is no more than 512MB RAM. Then, after Ubuntu/Kubuntu has started up, blacklist the intel-agp module in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist. Then before the next boot you can increase the RAM of the VM if you want.

Note: the problem stems from a difference in reading the AGP memory specs.

Hi,
Thx a lot for the answer!
But how do i do blacklist a module? I this case, how do i blacklist the intel-agp module? And what does it do?
