KB890859, bootcamp and XP

Is there any solution to this problem yet where XP wants to install KB890859 every time you boot up under Parallels on a bootcamp partition?

I saw a few notes here about it being a problem on the betas, but it's still a problem with the final release.

Another question, but I couldn't find a reference to it here. When I launch Parallels running off my bootcamp partition, it unmounts the drive, and then complains that it can't find the windows partition. If I hit the run button again, it picks it up fine. Any solution to this?

Thanks.

Have not heard any solution. I can confirm that I have the same issue. Also Parallels cannot find any PVS files (including bootcamp); I have to double click the PVS to launch it, and Parallels quits as soon as I exit from Windows. The result is there is no way to configure the VM. The autostart option is already turned off in the .pvs file.

I still have the problem with the final release too. I have tried the work-arounds I've vound posted on these groups but with no luck yet.

Same here

Running the final release and I am still having this problem with a bootcamp windows xp install. It is annoying a bit, but just turn off auto load of the updates and always ignore the *59 KB install and things are very usable. This is the only wart in my nice parallels setup.
