KDE filesystem and windows browsers text is huge, how do I turn it down?

Hi, I installed KDE on my Ubuntu 9.04 guest OS and when I login with a KDE session the file system text is huge in the dolphin windows and everything else. Firefox, etc, the text is huge when I look at the settings screens. The text on the pretty widgets and bar at the bottom are small but the text in the apps is huge. Anyone know how to decrease the text size?

I've posted a few questions now, no answers. Can anyone here me? Hope I'm not doing it wrong.
 
It certainly is a Parallels issue if it is Parallels causing the text size to be huge. I wouldn't expect huge text in the windows as a KDE default under normal conditions, but maybe in a VM. Of course I don't know why the text is huge, sooooo I thought I would ask other Parallels users who happen to use KDE.
