Keep getting: "This application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000017)"

I need to install MT5 forex trading software on my mac (MiniM2Pro/Sonoma14.2/32GB) using Parallels desktop19 on Windows 11Pro. I know that a native mac version of MT5 is available but the software in need to installed on MT5 is only supported on Windows. :( I downloaded the install file directly from metatrader5.com into windows11 download folder. But every time I either double click or OPEN that file I get this error message.

"This application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000017). Click OK to close application."

I'n running Sonoma 14.2 on the mac side.
Any idea what's going on?

Hey man, getting the exact issue you have with mac OS Sonoma, trying to install MT5 as well and getting that same error, did you find a solution yet?
 
I have Parallels 18 running Windows 11 and am attempting to install MT4 forex trading and have the same issue. I looked up a few posts indicating the memory allocation may be not enough to run the install .exe, but after attempting some of the troubleshooting recommendations from those posts (flush bad memory; verify latest version of Windows), the problem persists.
