XP is running well, has the programs and updates I need. But the future does not call for it to do any email, and since the programs I am using are set for the time I will retain them, is there any way to set parallels so that XP cannot see outside to the internet through OSX.

For a "static" setup like mine, it seems that is an easier alternative to constantly running anti virus and adware and spybot programs.

Does that make sense? Seems like most people who are not serious about moving forward with XP or Vista would welcome that alternative.

    .
Through control panel, network connections, right click on the icon for your virtual network adaptor, and click on disable.

Or simply click 'disconnect' in the network adater icon context menu (lower right Parallels Application corner) :)
