Keyboard layout during login (Windows XP)

Hi, I have a strange problem, that I'm not sure is caused by Parallels Desktop.

I'm using Parallels Desktop 5 (build 5.0.9310) for Mac under Snow Leopard. I have setup a French canadian keyboard that matches the mac layout for my Windows XP machine which is a QWERTY layout. However, whenever I logout of Windows, it returns me to the Administrator login page, I cannot enter my password properly, the keyboard layout is changed - To AZERTY I guess, but cannot tell for sure.

So while trying to enter my password, the layout is AZERTY, but once I do, after the vm is completely booted, then it's back to QWERTY, which is what I want.

Is this something that I can fix in Parallels?

Found solution

Hi, in case someone has the same problem, it turns out that this is not a parallels issue after all.

The solution is to change the value in the following registry key in Windows XP:

HKEY_USER\.DEFAULT\Keyboard Layout\Preload.
