Keyboard & Mouse Fails (Xp SP2 + Leopard 10.5.2)

Hello everybody,

I'm a Parallels user since version 2.

I never have had any problem when running Parallels over Tiger 1.4.11

Now I work with a iMac and it is impossible to run XP because keyboard and mouse fails.
Xp SP2 runs fine with Bootcamp but when I run Parallels Xp starts as a new installations and detects many devices at the beggining, among them the keyboard and mouse, but ... how can I press Next to install keyboard if keyboard and mouse fails?
Also it is impossible to run Parallels Tools because I cannot press any buttom to start the installation.

Any idea to fix it?

which keyboard and mouse?

some older PS2 to USB (rectangular, flat connector) links no longer work
the latest ones are black with two wires

In the other thread a user found the fault was caused by using a Dell OEM instalation disk
when he got a new Windows instalaltion disk it all "worked beautifully" he said
