Hello!

I have not been successful in installing either Kubuntu 7.x or Ubuntu 7.x under Parallels, latest build 3188. It doesn't seem to matter if i try to install from the ISO from the desktop or from a CD. The (K)ubuntu splash screen comes, I hit return to boot and then ... after a couple lines of code, nothing - I've even tried simply waiting for up to a half hour.

using the same burned CD I was able to successfully install onto my IBM ThinkPad T22, just not onto my MacBook Pro or my Intel iMac - both running 10.4.9 with all updates installed.

ideas?
 
You need to:
1)Create Custom VM with guest OS type "Solaris" and guest OS version "Other Solaris" and start VM
2)After the successful Ubuntu installation change open Configuration of your Ubuntu VM->Options tab->General and change guest OS type to "Linux" and version to "Other Linux Kernel 2.6"
