Laplink PCMover Question

I'm a parallels newbie... I have it up and running on an M1 iMac. Successful working installs of Windows 10 (ARM version) and Ubuntu.
I would like to move a Win 7 PC that's on its last legs to my virtual machine. Obviously there are some issues.
So my question is, can anyone with experience using Laplink's PCMover app offer advice, suggestions, info on pitfalls, etc, using PCMover to transfer files and apps from a Win 7 box to a Parallels Win 10 (ARM) install in Parallels? Is there a better way?

have you found a solution? I am facing the same problem of how to get my data and existing applications to run on my new M2 Macbook.
