I do a lot of large calculations in Excel that can take a while to complete. If they are especially large, I'll use Boot Camp to give them more resources, but day to day, I like to use Parallels (12) so I can multitask. I'm not sure if this is a Parallels 12 issue, but is there a setting that will let me initiate a calculation and use other apps (Win10 or MacOS) without stopping the Excel calculation?
Hello there. So when calculations are being run in Excel in Windows, which are the actions that seem to interrupt them? Is it possible for you to show us the issue using screenshots?
It happens when processing a huge vLookup, but I recently converted the whole thing to VBA and it's no longer an issue. Processing time has also decreased from 45 minutes to a max of 30 seconds. Life changing!
