Larger than 256GB single volume?

I've got a single drive composed of 2 128GB virtual hard drives.

Is there any way I can just format a bare 500GB drive NTFS and "see" it within Parallels?

I'm not really set-up to do Boot Camp, but I could give it a shot if that's my only solution.
