Just to let you know that I encountered the same issue.
Reverting back to 17.0.1 did help.

 

I do experience this with 18.0.3, actually since 18.0. Got the same problem as BlakeR, but it's not only via VPN, also in the office. Is there any fix for the 18.X versions?
