Leaving Parallels

I have been trying for years to get Parallels to work - across different Macs, different OS versions, and different versions of Parallels - and I'm finally giving up and terminating my subscription. Here's why I'm leaving:

• Some days it opens quickly and with no issues, but about half the time it hangs up endless in one of a few different spots
  
• When it hangs up there is a 50/50 change it will freeze the whole computer - a hard reboot doesn't always fix the freeze/performance of the Mac
• I've tried everything I could find online and through support but yet it still eats up large (100GB+) of hard drive space no matter how its configured
• Tech support is not helpful at all - no correspondence or article has ever got this to work reliably

I've now wasted another whole day trying to get it to work - if you're considering this software try before you buy. If you're like me, endlessly in performance hell, it might be time to leave.
