library problem

Bit poster
I have been using Parallels on my MacBook for some time. Now I am unable to boot windows - I get the error message "file/users/******/library/parallels/winxp/winex.hdd. The file is in use by another application." I have tried to reboot the Parallels app and also restarted the mac. Same result. What can I do?
