Linux Guest and Networking

I have RHE 4.3 installed and it fails to aquire the network through DHCP on either network adapter. This used to work just fine in beta4 and now fails in beta5.

I installed ubuntu 5.10 and it works fine if you are bridging it to en1 on the mac (airport express). You do have to go into networking administration and enable the ethernet apapter (en0) in ubuntu. By default it is disabled. Parallels bridges it then to en1 (assuming you have your VM set up to do so).
I had to do an extra step do get it working (Parallels 2.1b6):
DHCP configuration was not working so I had to set up a static IP address. Just choose one not used on your network and also enter your subnet mask and router address. Finally, in the DNS tab, enter your router IP address also. This worked for my Ubuntu 5.10 installation :-)
