Linux Host / Windows native SATA Guest, Valid Config?

I can't seem to find this anywhere else, but is this a valid setup:

2 Physical SATA Drives
Linux Host on one, Windows installed on the other ( dual boot capable ), and windows available as a Guest OS from Parallels?

Kind of like Mac's BootCamp support.
